The County of San Luis Obispo Libraries are now offering mobile printing services at the Atascadero, Arroyo Grande, and San Luis Obispo Libraries. Patrons can now print from their own computer or mobile devices and retrieve the documents at the library.
The three regional branches of the County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries – Atascadero, Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo – now offer Mobile Printing Services. Patrons can send print jobs from a desktop, laptop or mobile device anywhere, then retrieve their printed items at print stations located within the chosen branch. The print stations are coin-operated, with a cost of 10 cents per page. At this time printing is available in black and white only.
To send a document, webpage, email or attachment to be printed, visit slolibrary.org, click on the Mobile Printing icon, and follow instructions. Once you have sent your print job, it will remain in the queue for 3 days. To claim your printed item, go to the Print Release station at the designated branch and click the Print My Document button. An email address is used to retrieve your items. Print jobs can also be sent using the "PrinterOn" mobile app from the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (Apple) Once installed, search using the "Location" section for one of the Libraries listed above.
