• NOTICE FOR CITY OF SLO RESIDENTS: If you received a mailer from the city regarding a sewer rebate opportunity and it listed your address but incorrect contact info, please be aware that this was due to a mail merge issue during the production of the post card. Our office has been contacted by several people concerned that their recorded property documents may have been compromised, but we've confirmed with the City of SLO that there is no issue and that they simply did not catch the issue with the address merge.

  • Make sure you register to vote before the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election! Then check out our election webpage for important details, voter FAQs, and resources.

  • Are you considering running for a seat on a SLO County school board this November? The County Office of Education is holding a Candidate Workshop on Monday, April 13 at 5pm. Anyone interested in a community services district or special district contest is also welcome, as most of the information covered will apply to running for these offices as well. The meeting will be held at the County Office of Education and on zoom.

  • Rooftop weddings are back! With spring comes a return to the option of having your wedding ceremony on the rooftop patio of the government center in downtown SLO.

We will also continue to offer Express Marriage Ceremonies for those interested in a streamlined civil marriage ceremony. This new service can accommodate up to three guests and can immediately follow the issuance of a marriage license.
