Precinct Workers
What is this service?
This service provides information about becoming a precinct (poll) worker and allows you to view precinct worker training material. See precinct worker programs for more information.
Who can use this service?
A precinct worker must be either a registered voter in California or a permanent legal resident of the United States.
Is there a charge for this service?
Precinct Worker Pay
- Clerks receive $48.50 for half day; $97 for full day, plus $20 bonus for attending the election training course
- Inspectors receive between $137 & $162 depending on assignment, plus $20 bonus for attending the election training course
