The County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries are offering a new eBook and eAudiobook service called cloudLibrary. cloudLibrary provides access to electronic materials from libraries across California.

Beginning February 1, County of San Luis Obispo Public Library cardholders will have access to a free new eBook/eAudiobook service called cloudLibrary.

cloudLibrary is a unique shared platform where California public library systems contribute to a collection of downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks. Currently there are 21 library systems participating, and that number continues to grow. There are over 55,000 unique titles in the collection with additional titles being added daily.

Users can access materials on their computer, tablet or mobile device. The cloudLibrary app is intuitive and user-friendly, offering one-time login and one-click downloads. Currently, it is not compatible with Kindle e-readers.

cloudLibrary is offered in addition to the County Library’s other digital collections, including OneDrive, Hoopla and Enki.
