These closures are necessary to allow for resurfacing on Main Street.
Highway 101 on-ramp and off-ramp will be closed Monday, December 17, 2018 through Friday, December 21, 2018 from 3:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Time of actual work is dependent on weather conditions. The work will include removing and replacing existing pavement, laying a new paved surface, and reconstructing various roadside facilities.
For the safety of the public and workers, traffic on Main Street will be subject to detours or one-way controls with flaggers as required for each phase of work. Delays are expected to be up to 10 minutes during major operations. Motorists are advised to adjust their travel plans due to delays/closures and consider alternative routes. Please refer to the map for specific locations.
Papich Construction Co., Inc. of Arroyo Grande, has been awarded the contract for $1,596,000 to perform the work. The project is funded by San Luis Obispo County Road Maintenance funds and the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017; Senate Bill 1 gas tax revenue.
