What is the process?

Step 1: Submit Application

Completed an application package and email to [email protected].  You will receive an Invoice number (INV), which you can pay online.  Application review begins upon receipt of both electronic files and payment. 

Step 2: Staff Review

Department of Planning & Building staff reviews the proposed road abandonmnet.  Use the Planning Case number to track the process on CSS Permit Portal by search for the Planning Case number in the Search Keywords field.

Please refer to the Department of Planning & Building Fee Schedule for application fees.

When and where is this service offered?

Road abandonment  applications can be submitted at anytime throughout the year.
