PermitSLO is the County of San Luis Obispo's online permitting system. The County has created this online portal with the public in mind, making it available and accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Who is eligible?

Most information is publicly available including payment of fees and general searches for records.  Some permit details may only be available to the applicant and their authorized representatives. 

Is there a charge for this service?

Please refer to the Department of Planning & Building Fee Schedule for application fees.

 

When and where is this service offered?

The County has created this online portal with the public in mind, making it available and accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Please note that there may be intermittent system outages for regular maintenance and upgrades, but those will be noticed when scheduled in advance.  Thank you.

PermitSLO will recognize if your email has been used in the past and will alert you to this situation.  This prevents the system from having duplicate contacts.  If you receive this message, we recommend that you request a new password and access your account.  Often our users will find that they may have created an account previously that they do not remember.  Once you receive a link for a new password and create that password, you will be able to log in and view your account, check for any existing permits or plans under Dashboard or use My Work.
