Road Closure for Culvert Replacement on Avila Valley Drive

The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will temporarily close Avila Valley Drive to through traffic for a culvert replacement from September 15 to October 3, 2025.
Driveway access will remain open for all residents from either the north or south end of Avila Valley Drive.
Avila Valley Drive will be closed to traffic from September 15, 2025 to October 3, 2025. Driveway access will remain open. Please refer to map for location.
This culvert is among 4,950+ culverts in the County. A recent inspection found deficiencies with the culvert, requiring its replacement.
Full closure of the roadway will only occur at the culvert location shown on the vicinity map and the remainder of the road will remain open to residents.
