Temporary Lane Closure for Soil Testing on Turri Road

Drivers should plan for delays due to soil testing on Turri Road, September 22-23, 2025.
LOS OSOS – The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works is testing soil in preparation to repair portions of Turri Road, damaged in the 2023 and 2024 storms. Drivers should plan for delays on Turri Road, about 3.9 miles east of South Bay Boulevard. Lane closures will be in place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on September 22 and 23, 2025.
Roadwork will require traffic control and lane restrictions on Turri Road from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please refer to the map for the location.
There will be no lane restrictions outside of the 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. working hours. Soil and ground testing will be performed by Earth Systems, a consultant for the San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department.
