Temporary Closure Planned for Repairs to Oak Flat Road

PASO ROBLES – As part of the County’s ongoing storm recovery program, Public Works will temporarily close a limited section of Oak Flat Road for repairs from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11, 2025, during working hours. Motorists should use alternative routes connecting to Nacimiento Lake Drive to bypass the closure area.
The temporary closure will affect Oak Flat Road approximately 0.2 miles west of the southern junction with Nacimiento Lake Drive from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Severe storms in early 2023 and 2024 caused a major slip-out in this area, resulting in partial lane loss and the need for repair.
This closure will restrict access to through traffic only—local access will be maintained up to the work zone from both directions. Please refer to the attached map for the exact closure location.
