Temporary Closure for Repairs to Stagecoach Road

SAN LUIS OBISPO – The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will temporarily close Stagecoach Road to vehicular traffic for repairs approximately 1 mile South of the junction of the Highway 101 and TV Tower Road (West Cuesta Ridge).
Repairs will take place on May 27, 2025, through May 29, 2025; and June 2, 2025, through June 3, 2025. Please use alternate routes during the construction period.
Stagecoach Road will be closed to through vehicular traffic approximately 1 mile from the top of the Cuesta Grade Road. Please refer to the map for location.
The project is part of the Public Works Department’s storm recovery efforts. Storms starting in early 2023 caused slip-outs along portions of Stagecoach Road. Temporary repairs were conducted immediately after the storms, permanent repairs will be completed as part of this project.
The road will be open during the weekend from May 30, 2025 through June 1, 2025.
